Virtus College in the community: Making a difference matters.

How can we make our corner of the world a little better? At Virtus College, students are finding ways to make a difference, no matter how small, through acts of service. Recently, they collaborated with the charity Comunidad Sant’Egidio to prepare bocadillos (sandwiches) for the homeless, offering support to some of the most vulnerable members of our society.
Working together as a team, the students demonstrated incredible enthusiasm and efficiency, preparing hundreds of bocadillos in just one hour. The activity not only highlighted their ability to work toward a common goal but also provided a hands-on opportunity to give back to the community.
This initiative allowed students to develop essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and empathy while experiencing the reward of contributing to the greater good. They left with a deep sense of accomplishment and a renewed understanding of the positive impact small acts of kindness can have.
