Young Enterprise

A practical experience of launching and running a real business.

Overview: in this national entrepreneurship programme, students form and run their own business, from concept to product development, marketing, and sales. Business ideas have ranged from festive Christmas ornament production to personalised printed T-shirts and beyond, reflecting students’ creativity and awareness of market trends.

Skills development: throughout the process, they learn essential skills in leadership, budgeting, branding, and teamwork, gaining real-world insight into what it takes to launch and sustain a successful venture.

Wharton Global High School Investment Competition

A global challenge where students build and present a real-world investment strategy.

Overview: hosted by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, this prestigious global challenge invites students to develop an investment strategy for a real client scenario.

Skills development: during this global challenge, students work in teams to analyse market trends, construct portfolios, and present their strategy to a panel of experts, gaining experience in finance, risk management, and strategic thinking.

Digital Media

A creative platform to design, build, and manage real-world digital content and campaigns.

Overview: this dynamic, hands-on enrichment strand equips students with practical skills in digital marketing, social media strategy, and personal portfolio creation. Aligned with business and entrepreneurship pathways, it offers a platform to explore real-world applications of digital media in today’s evolving business landscape.

Skills development: through collaborative projects, workshops, and content creation, members learn how to build and manage a professional online presence, craft digital campaigns, and use key tools such as CAD design, Canva, Adobe video editing. The club supports students in creating digital portfolios that showcase their skills, achievements, and readiness for careers in business, marketing, communications, and creative industries. Our goal is to empower students to become confident digital storytellers and strategic thinkers, prepared to thrive in today’s competitive and media-driven world.
